Well the News is out

The comic strip says..."I'm going to be someone's parent. I'm going to be a mother. I'm going to be....fat!!!"

Yep...The word on the street is I am pregnant. I am about 8 weeks along. Due around January 22nd or so. It is pretty exciting, scary, crazy. I had been cranky, sick to my stomach, way tired, my sister and sister in law and mom told me I should take a pregnancy test. I was a bit skeptical and said that there was no way I could be pregnant. Adam went with me to get the test and we came to mom's house and she was cooking eggs. I told her it stunk in here and she told me to go take the test. I came out of the bathroom crying to Adam. We are both in college, both working, how would we ever have time for a kid or be able to afford one? He said everything would work out. I hope so. I am finally used to the idea that I'm pregnant. We'll see how it goes. I'll keep you posted and hopefully all goes smoothly.

It will be OK Kim. When we had Hannah Shane was in school, I had no degree and was working for $7 an hour and then when we had her I quit with Shane being the bread winner...we struggled, I won't lie, but you have your family right there. You are blessed with that. The Lord is mindful of you, please please remember that. It is VERY exciting news! I can't believe Adam is going to be a daddy!

KIIIIIM! Congratulations! It must be scary, but also soooo exciting. I can't wait to be prego too. Okay, I can wait. But if you think about it, there's never a "convenient" time to have a baby, so just be happy, and I agree that you've gotta count your blessings with your family so close.

You're awesome.

Congrats! It will be hard but it will be hard no matter what! You come from a great family and I think that it will be a little easier since you are already a wonderful aunt! I wish you the best! Keep taking those prenatals and eat a little bit constantly (that was how I kept from throwing up--even keep some crackers or something that you like by your bed so that in the morning you can eat something quickly and not throw up!!!) Good luck, and again, Congrats!
