Do you ever get so annoyed with someone you just want to let them have it...but what they did wasn't directed to you but to someone you love?

He's Growing...And We are Making Changes!
Parker turned 8 months on Sunday. Hard to believe how fast he has grown and time has flown! He is going on 28 inches! I know it says 48, but it starts at 20 remember!I take pictures next to this every month to show how he's grown (unfortunately I forgot at 7 months).
We got Curtains!!
My cousin gave us all of this monkey stuff that she got for her little girl that they never used.
We used this beauty to hang up the cute name that my sister made for Parker!
I wasn't really sure how to use this...but since his feet are so small for now, I have his three pairs of shoes in it! they are getting too small though! Time to buy new ones.
I need to print out a picture of him to put in this cute frame.
This is a cute mirror.

Words of the Day
"Hypochondriasis (or hypochondria, often referred to as health phobia) refers to an excessive preoccupation or worry about having a serious illness." wikipedia
"Ridiculous - Deserving of ridicule; foolish; absurd." wiktionary
"Annoyance is an unpleasant mental state that is characterized by such effects as irritation and distraction from one's conscious thinking." wikipedia
If I think of anymore words that come to mind I'll add them. And no this doesn't have to do with Adam's case of the Flu.

I am Batman
Remember when I found out I was pregnant and we started discussing names and Adam was stuck on Batman? Well at Walmart last night we were looking for Parker new Pajamas (because he only has 3 pair that he fits in and I get tired of doing laundry every three days for pajamas) and Adam found these beauties...
Yep Complete with a Cape! Notice the slobber already on his pants. These are size 18 months. The 12 month set didn't have the tool belt and Adam wasn't digging it. These seem to fit pretty well except for the length of the pants!

Family Fun
Caryn, Justin, Hunter, Taylor, Tucker, and Meredith (they were babysitting so Court and Janelle could go to their BBQ competition - www.southernrootz.com) came Friday night and spent the day Saturday with us! It was so fun. We played outside. Well more like Justin and the kids played outside, and we sat and watched. It was so hot. We were going to go play putt putt and do the batting cages at an outside activity place, but we decided it was too hot and humid. So we went to the Cosmic Putt Putt place at the mall. I decided I just wanted to watch, Parker was asleep so Adam decided not to play either. We just walked around pushing Parker in the stroller. Meredith stayed home and took a nap. Kari and Matt played a game together and the McCabe Family played a game together. My camera didn't take very good pictures without the flash on with all the neon lights etc. So you get normal pictures! The McCabes

Then we met Grammer and Grumps for lunch at Cheddars! So good!

We had a lot of fun even though a few siblings and family members were missing (hopefully we can all get together soon)!

What do you do...
when you are standing in a store with your husband, sister and brother in law and your brother in law thinks it would be funny to spray perfume on you and some random customer yells at him and tells him he needs to grow up and continues to yell the entire walk out of the store? Laugh after she leaves and apologize profusely to him for getting chewed out by a total stranger for something stupid!
when you put a roast in the crock pot before church? Dream about it all during church and dig in right after!
when someone tells you they feel like a bad person because people seem to not trust them or like them? Get very annoyed with the people that aren't trusting and tell the person they are ridiculous to think that - they are a very good person!
when you have a little boy that loves ice cream? Let your mom feed him almost a whole kid scoop at Chick-fil-a!
when you aren't feeding an 8 month old fast enough? Let him feed himself!
when people tell you that you have a precious little boy? Smile and say thank you ten thousand times (and to think I was scared I would have an ugly child - is that every mom's fear?)
when your 8 month old son crawls over all of you barriers to keep him out of things? Build higher ones!
when you have a crying fussy baby? let your husband take care of him :)

Sweet Parker
We finally got him a cheap high chair. We had be putting it off for a long time, but when he started climb out of his bumbo while I was feeding him I told Adam we couldn't put it off any longer! Right after we put it together, we put him in it and gave him cheerios and he fell asleep! Poor Baby!
Who Said Bumbos were just for sitting? Parker is getting into everything. He has been walking with us holding his hands for a while, but he is starting to let go of the couch and will stand still for about 20 to 30 seconds at a time. That may not sound like very long, but he's learning!
I put my cedar chest (it has all of our wii stuff in it) there to keep him out of the blinds but it doesn't work. I want one for the other side of the windows for Parker's toys and Kari has one exactly like it except its decorated different (mine has a towel on top so the top isn't ruined) but I doubt she would give it up to let Parker use it for his toys. There is always hope though right?
I mean Kari loves him very much and I hear that the other night she asked Matt if he thought we would let them have Parker. Adam said they could have him from 10 pm to 7 am!
He is a good baby though and happy for about 95-99 % of the time. If he is fussing it's because he is tired or hungry or you aren't letting him climb all over you and take over the laptop or he wants what you are eating and you're not sharing! He's getting so big. Today, Kevin and Sarah had their new little baby and when we went back to visit, it brought back so many memories of Parker's birth since it was at the same hospital. I was thinking about a lot of things today from the first few weeks of his birth. I love him so much!
