Paybacks are Tough

When Adam and I were dating, we'd talk on the phone late at night like most dating couples do.  At times I would fall asleep and when he would say something to wake me up I'd be so out of it that I would blurt out random things like bugspray and give me back my pen.  Adam laughed and thought it was funny.

Well last night it was Adam's turn.  I was watching America's Got Talent (you know off the dvr so I could fast forward through commercials and the nasty and gross acts) and Adam was sound asleep.  Out of no where he said "It's my job to make noise".  I'm not really sure what he was dreaming about.  Maybe the fact that I make him turn down his radio low and the tv low and he is tired of it so he was fighting with me in a dream and that was his comeback?  I'm not to sure, but I'm glad to know I'm not the only one that randomly blurts things out!

I am a huge fan of all of these songs! What Mom wouldn't be :) I hope they make you laugh and brighten your day like they have mine!

17 Months Old

Hard to believe he's 17 Months Old!

I feel Loved

It's nice to be loved, don't you think? :)
A few weekends ago my sister called and asked if we would go to their house for a crawfish boil and I said sure. I really thought I was loved and adored and that they just wanted us at the party and then she asked if I would bring the crawfish!! Craziness right? Haha. Just kidding - I know I am loved and they could have gotten crawfish up there. They really did want us to come up to visit. I feel so loved when they call and ask us to come.

We drove in my car with 60 lbs of crawfish in my trunk (that bent the board in my trunk because of the weight - I'll have to get Justin to fix it!). It was not a fun drive. Parker threw up on the way and we had to pull over to clean him up and his carseat. He rode the rest of the way naked with a blanket on him so that if he puked again it would be easier to clean up!

Well you know that Someone in the family is always going to get hurt. Doesn't matter who or what we are doing, someway, somehow, someone is going to get hurt! This time it was Tucker (go figure - it is usually him!). You can get the full story on her blog.

We left church early on Sunday (because it was naptime for Parker - they don't go to church until 12 noon! How Crazy is that!!) and found out Mom and Dad were on their way to Lufkin! So we hung out at Court's so that Parker could take a nap and then we headed home!

I kept two of my sister's kids last weekend and we had a lot of fun! We even went swimming at Parker's Grandparent's House! Thanks for letting us use your pool!

A few Faves

We went to Conroe a few weekends ago to get out of the house and for Adam and I to spend some quality time together! We went to the outlet mall that has really gone downhill and we didn't see anything cool or fun there, so we went to a strip mall that had tons of stores. We went into The Children's Place and found the cutest shoes for Parker, but they are too big barefoot and too small with socks because his feet are so fat so we had to take them back! :( I was so sad! I loved them! He looked so cute in them. Thanks Grandma and Grandpa for keeping Parker for us!

On that same trip we stopped at a gas station on the way home to get a few bucks of gas and some drinks. Adam wanted a fountain drink, but I've been on this thing where I'm trying not to drink soda. Though it seems all last weekend I cheated, but still! I found this drink at the Gas Station and it's my new favorite!! It is sooo good!

Oh Parker!

Parker's at that stage where I think he would potty train, but I'm not really ready for the process. I wish someone would come teach him and that I wouldn't have to! I could tell last night he was pooping so I took him in the bathroom and sat him on the potty, but it was too late...he was already done.

Since he was already in the bathroom we went ahead and bathed him.

He cuddled with Adam around 8:15 or so and I was trying/hoping to keep him awake. Parker goes to bed around 10 usually and wakes up between 7:30 and 8:30. I knew that if he went to sleep that early he would wake up too early.

Well he was asleep on Adam's lap by 8:30 and I tried to wake him up but was unsuccessful. Adam laid him down on the floor next to him and he stayed asleep! So we decided to go ahead and put him in bed. I was in bed by 9:30 not knowing if Parker was just taking a late nap (because that would be awful) or if he was going to wake up in the night.

I fell asleep before 10:30 and tossed and turned in the night like usual. I woke up to the alarm this morning for Adam and realized that I still hadn't heard Parker. I didn't hear him until 8:30!! The lil cutie slept 12 hours! I mean he used to sleep from 10 to 10 but not anymore. I was excited that I didn't have to get up in the middle of the night and that he at least slept past 8!

Does this post even make sense? Even after sleeping, I am still so out of it this morning! Haha!

Busy, Busy, Busy

We have been so busy lately and I have a lot of good stuff to tell you! But it is naptime, so I am going to take advantage of it while I can! I promise to post everything that has been going on! Honest! I will!

Broken Door, New Home, Rich Uncle (Random Huh haha)

So I feel someone should buy us or build us a house with 3 or 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms with a huge tub to relax in and a shower that you don't get claustrophobic in. I mean I love our home because it's a roof over our head and somewhere to sleep at night etc. But if things keep breaking I just might go insane!

Yesterday when I opened my bedroom door (I keep it closed during the day so it is cooler in there at night - its hard for the window unit to keep up with it open) it fell off the top hinge and the door split a little. The kitchen sink leaks. The closet door fell off it's hinges a few weeks ago. Its' just crazy!

Where is the rich uncle or family member when you need/want them??? Do they even exist in every family because I don't think I have one in mine!
