While Adam was in the bathroom this evening, Parker went in there and I heard this conversation...

Parker: "Dad is that your butt?"
Adam: "yes, Parker"
Parker: "I'm going to get your butt"
Adam: "no your not don't do that"

Parker: "ow, Rigee tried to hit me in the face."  you know because she is such a mean 4 3/4 month old :)

Me: "Parker why are you crying?"

Parker: "I was jumping on my bed and then I fell on my butt."

Adam: "Parker where is your cookie?"
Parker: "in my mouth"

Parker: "hey rig are you taking a bath?"
Adam: "yes she is taking a bath"
Parker: "dad I'm talking to rigs"

Tic Tacs

Parker's cousins have gotten him hooked on tic tacs - He found half a container and started eating them.  A few minutes later he was playing with an empty tic tac container and I asked him where the tic tacs went - he responded...

"In my mouth." 

He ate them all - within minutes!  He's just like his McCabe cousins!

Have you washed Crayons before?

We Have...And I'm not happy about it.

I started a load of laundry Saturday Night because I needed clean spit rags for Riglee.  When I started putting the load in the drier, I saw yellowish paper in the bottom of the washer and couldn't figure out what it was.  Then I found half a green crayon, half an orange crayon and then both halves.  We checked the clothes and shook them before putting the load in the dryer.  When I went to take the load out of the drier Sunday Morning, I found a brown crayon in there and there was orange crayon on about 10 pieces of clothes (including the white tank top for me that I had thrown in there to wear to church under my dress).  There was an orange ring in the dryer. 

I had already showered luckily - but spent a good bit of the rest of my morning scrubbing the drier with a magic eraser.  It faded a lot - I can still see a faint orange streak here and there - I started drying my hair at 8:40 and church starts at 9!  We made it just in time to take the sacrament. 

I am still trying to get the crayon out of the clothes though.  I washed them this morning with tide with bleach just to see if I would get lucky and it would come out...it didn't.
Then I used the Clorox 2 stick on all of the spots and washed them again - still not out. 
I made Adam google how to get crayon out of clothes - it said to use WD-40...Really?!?!  Yep that's what it says...

So Adam sprayed the clothes and scrubbed and we washed again.  There are still some marks but at least they are faint. 

I hope to never wash crayon again!

Thanks Parker for sticking them in your pocket and not taking them out!!

Parker Does Laundry

Saturday Morning, Adam and I had stayed in bed and my sweet mom was getting Parker breakfast.  Fruit Loops and Milk -
He suddenly comes running in with only a diaper on and I asked him where his clothes were.  He said, "they're yucky - Milk got on them."  So I told him to go get dressed. 

A little while later he was in the bathroom "washing his hands" and when I went in to check on him, he had the hand towel in the sink and it was soaked.  I grabbed the wet towel up and gathered all the dirty towels and went to put them in the washer, but something was already in there. 

I began taking dry kitchen chair seat cushions out of the washer and noticed the pajamas Parker had on in there. 

I yelled for him to come here and asked why 4 cushions and his pajamas were in the washer and he said, "they were yucky - I had to clean them."  

I'm just glad he can't start the washer. 

Parker Sayings -

Parker was playing on Riglee's mat today on the floor and said, "My hair hurts."

Me: "Parker what do you want to get dad for Father's Day?"
Parker: "Pizza!"

Parker: "Mom, Mom, Mom, Look Mom, Mom..."
Me: "What are you doing?"
Parker: "Rolling my eyes."

Parker: "I want to hello Kia"  (which means he wants to call Aunt Kari on the phone)

Parker: "I want to hello Daddy on the puter."  (which means he wants to video chat with Adam)
