On Monday, we went to moms and ate gumbo and made Halloween Cookies (bats, webs, Frankensteins, cats, jack-o-lanterns, haunted houses, candy corns, headstones, ghosts, cauldrons, spiders and mummies)
Then we carved our pumpkin. Parker wouldn't stick his hand in the pumpkin by himself and then he tried to eat it and grossed out Aunt Squirt.

Haha! I can send you the recipe but I get the roux here (i dont make it from scratch). I don't know if you can get it up there or not, but I'll post the recipe and picture of the roux to my recipe blog...
