UGH Life is no Good Sometimes

I don't have any fun pictures to share but I wanted to comment on the blog. I know life gets busy and we have a hard time updating sometimes, but please, come on people. I checked some friends blogs and they haven't updated in months. What's up with that? I want to know whats going on in your lives silly. Okay enough of me complaining about that.

For those of you that don't know, I had my gallbladder taken out in December. I was having major problems with my side and the Doctor said I had the beginnings of gallbladder disease. I was going to have to have surgery. Are you kidding me? Anyone that knows me well, knows I don't do doctors and I don't do needles. They were going to have to chop me open. I didn't like the sounds of that. Luckily mom knew the anesthesiologist and my nurse was a family friend. That made me feel a little better. Last thing I remember was the nurse telling me her daughter my age had a baby and I was out like a light. I remember waking up in recovery complaining about how it hurt and she told me that as soon as they got me back up to my room they would give me meds to make the pain go away.

My fiance (at the time anyways) and a good family Friend, Shawna, Mom and Dad where there in my room while I was in and out. I couldn't be released until I went to the restroom. I couldn't have anything to eat or drink after midnight and my room nurse turned off my iv. how the heck am I supposed to go to the restroom? Dad apparently told me he would pay me money if I would get up and go to the restroom so we could go home. That was around 8 pm or so. I finally arrived home at about 11 pm that night. Shawna and Adam tell me how rude I was to the nurse because she kept telling me to get out of bed. I just had surgery I didn't want out of my bed. UGH.

So now I have this problem. You see your gallbladder helps with digestion and making the process go not so fast or something. With out the gallbladder, it hits and you better find a restroom right then and there. Cause you don't have much time. It really isn't fun and my side still hurts at times. So what was the point of going through the surgery and paying the doctor tons and tons of money? Not fun I tell you. Not fun.

On a happier note, Adam is spending tons of time at school studying and working on things so he can graduate in December and I am trying to do the same. Well I won't graduate until May so I am hoping we wont have to move too far away so I can graduate. I dont want to be one semester short of graduating. That would not be fun. Needless to say I spend a lot of time at my parents house because I don't like to be home alone while he's gone. It's just something about the place I dunno. Not creepy, just weird feelings. So anyways. I suppose this will be the end of my saga for the day. Sorry to have bored or grossed people out but hey its a fact of life sometimes to be bored or grossed out. :)

The same things happen to Heather since she got hers taken out.

That last paragraph sounded funny, the first line anyways, after reading it I know what you meant, but at first it sounds like, "On a happier note, Adam is never around..."

Anyways how is newly wed life treating you?

My sis-in-law had hers out too. She complains about the same stuff. Potty stuff. Sucks!

Thanks to Shane for telling all my gruesome details lol...I was just about to jump on here and say the same thing about myself though ha. Yeah I get sick really fast if I eat the wrong things, which I tend to do QUITE often...hence the big butt. Hopefully that will all change here soon. I started Weight Watchers today...weird thing is I never had that problem until after I had Hannah. Go figure. Everything started to fall to pieces after she came. My body went haywire!

Kim, when I had mine out, the same thing happened to me, but the good news it gets better. I don't even have those problems anymore. Jenn Bell
